Job Summary:

The purpose of this role is to evaluate and generate user information solutions by implementing and maintaining Manual and Automated test scenarios for use in Quality Assurance testing.

We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative individual to join our Quality Assurance team in either the Dublin, Ireland or London, UK offices. Reporting to the Head of Quality Assurance, the position oversees Manual/Automation testing of Acadia’s risk analytics software that is used in Acadia’s Risk Services suite and that prices derivatives products in fixed-income, equity and commodity asset classes. This is a tremendous opportunity to strengthen technical, business and product skills. The position requires someone with a strong working knowledge of finance with exposure to quality assurance methodologies or IT. The ideal candidate would also possess the motivation and desire to work in a challenging environment.

This position can be hybrid from UK or Ireland.

Responsibilities & Duties:

· Creates test plans, data, procedures, and manual scripts.

· Writes complete and accurate descriptions on software issues.

· Identifies and suggests improvements focused on defect prevention.

· Analysis of automated test results and failures.

· Ensures test environment reflects business requirements for test execution.

· Executes manual and/or automated test scripts for most complex projects.

· Works with project team to establish testing entrance and exit criteria.

· Ensures execution of project regression test tasks.

· Performs independent and complex technical and functional analysis for multiple projects

supporting several initiatives.

· Analyzes and reports test status and results.

· Work in close collaboration with both our Product Management and Engineering/Development teams to ensure the inclusion of enhancements requested by clients in the software and ensure delivery.

· Defines regression tests, and production verification and validation for future projects.

Technical Skills:

Required:

· Working knowledge of financial instruments valuation in asset classes: Interest Rate Products, FX, Equity and Credit.

· Understanding of the concepts of market risk and initial margin including sensitivity analysis, stress testing, value at risk and SIMM.

· Exposure to automated QA technologies.

· Windows, Excel, Word, JIRA

· Ability to do some basic troubleshooting to determine if an error is the result of user error.

Optional:

· Java, XML, HTML, and Python.

· Experience with SQL Queries.

Personal Skills:

· Excellent organizational and communication skills.

· Ability to shift priorities as the workload necessitates.

· Ability to work independently but also can work as part of a team.

Qualifications:

· Minimum 3 years Financial Industry Experience.

· Prior experience in IT or Quality Assurance.

· Degree in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, or IT.
